Kind of remind me of a Texas too but who knows. I have probably 20 of these,5 to 6 of these darters and 5 or sunfish. Feeding them and they are getting bigger everyday.
Where this pond is I'm sure they were dumped. There is a hatchery about half a mile away where they raise little species of darters and others I've never seen that could have came from there. We have had a couple bad floods so..
If its possible I'm convinced these are convict Dempsey hybrids. Idk if they'll breed but if they did these are what they'd look like. If not that then they have to be convict babies. I'm at petmsart just looking and they look a lot alike.
