What are these particles in the water?

Update!

I did a new water change 50% and the white particles reduced by 95% so now there is only 5% remaining that floats and it is not really visible.

Another thing that can cause the bubbles and in particular a “cloudy” surface “skim” very similar is fish oil. If a puffer has chomped a guppy (even a dead one) they can release fish oils which generally float. You can get the same if you feed whole fish like sprat or smelt.

thanks Dave. yes, it could be a possibility. Also, I feed my puffers juicy earthworms. could the earthworms also have some sort of oil stuff?
