I again stand by the two I gave. It is not a peacock of any type. Wait for it to grow more and then take more pics. I love my dolphin!

agree, the face/head isn't shaped quite right to be a moorii, maybe copadachromis chrysonotus?? Mutt of a blue dolphin and ahli possibly?
this is a blue dolphin. The black spots are a representation of bad breeding, IMO. They should not look like that from my experiences.
when they are young they all show black spots. They are youngsters in the photos above. The spots will not fade until they are older
Technically the black spots will always be there as they are a sign of how well they fit into the tank. If the spots are gone they are fitting in fine; if they are present they are stressed out from another fish.

I never said they will not have the spots. As they mature they will fade, like the stripes on male peacocks. Females adult will often so spots depending on mood.
yer definatly blue dolphin in my mind anyway, i have a pair of these lovely fish hopefully 1m and 1f, looks like it as the bigger one has a hump and the one that is only just smaller doesn't have one at all but does have the body shape of a juvi,
also looks like the lighting in the tank has a lot of blue in it. That would cover the other features.
Definitely blue dolphins, I have some at that same size and they look just like that even the same shaped blotches.
Are you talking about the shape of the blotches or the fact that they are there? You need to be more specific especially when your claiming that some one has a fish that is a result of bad breeding. And what do you mean by bad breeding? hybrid, inbred...?
