I found these plants in a small pond up in the mountains here, any idea what they are?

P.S. They kind look like what is on the front page of that link being called Nymphoides aquatica or "Banana Plant".

Thanks for the link, its not the banana plant though, the leaves are arrow shaped, and the roots are much different.
And there not water lilies, the leaves arent round, and none of the plants, even when I got them, they didnt have flowers.

i worked at a pond store for awhile and they look like an Arrowhead plant but ive never seen one gorwing completely submerged so i have no idea

Definately look like arrowhead plants, but they dont grow out of the water like that, neither do the stems have the strength to support that kind of growth. Other than that they seem very similar!

Really? I swear they look purple to me. I have no idea I was going to say arrow head put that's not an option anymore.
