What are these?

They seem to be some tyoe of lily pad...but whatever they are I dont thave them anymore....my damn crayfish ate them! Oh well, soon they will be eaten!

They were found in a pond near the north platte river, in north park colorado. They Look very close to those, but none of them came out of the water like that, they were all flush with the waters surface.
 
Wish I could be of more help. The species I have seen all come out of the water as well. Are they cresting the surface in your tank?

The leaves were at the top, similar to lily pads, but then my 2 crayfish decided that they made tasty snacks, so there all gone.
 
Sagittaria latifloria? when young the plant is completely submerged though as adults most get emergent leaves.
