With thick sliced garlic bread. We didn't make a lettuce salad. I sliced up a few roma tomatoes and a cucumber and made a common oil and vinegar italian dressing to drizzle over the veggies.
That'll work!

Had a busy weekend. We had a ton of Italian leftovers, but I wanted something else. So, heated up some leftover jasmine rice and fried up a few eggs. Added a generous amount of my aunt's wonderful 'sweet chili-lime fish sauce' for a quick, comfort food meal.

Nice! I steamed the one in the pic and made butter garlic dipping sauce. The other one I caught was made stir fry with chilli's, garlic, shallots, chives, and green onion! Got one left for tonight. Love how long you can keep muddies alive with just some wet paper towels/towel covering and an occasional salty water soak! You guys eat them all one time? That's a feast!
No, we left some for today, along with the cockles which were caught at the same place as the mudcrabs, which were bbq. We have had some epic seafood feasts in the past.

T Timpon I'm gonna take a guess, and say that dipping sauce is: salt, black pepper, and lime juice......yes/no?
Yes, the family use it a lot but I'm not a huge fan as I find it too overpowering on most things except the cockles.

Amazing, I had the exact same thing a couple of days ago, with the same chillie sauce. The girlfriend prefers soy sauce or Maggi seasoning sauce with fresh chilli on her eggs though.

I usually use soy sauce with plenty of black pepper for my fried eggs and rice, but when I have my aunt's fish sauce on hand, I'll definitely use it. I have never been able to duplicate her various chili fish sauces, so it's always a treat when she visits and makes me a batch.

Cedar plank grilled salmon, tomatoes and zucchini with blue cheese and some fruit. This should make up for my White Castle post awhile back. Second time grilling tomatoes and the second time I didn't like how they turned out. Any suggestions?
