I believe its malt based, no citrusness at all. Like a cola but with a hint of alcohol and not as much carbonation

Just got finish with w/c on 3 out of 4 tanks, and now have a bit of the munchies.
So, made a quick grilled cheese with Panera's tomato-basil bread and 4 slices of pepperjack American cheese. Washed down with Harpoons white wheat ale
