you kept spelling it differently (greyskull, grayskull), so i was confused :D I haven't been listening to underground for that long, so IDK as much as you do about it. I like E&A's albums the best, but I like Blueprint/Soul Position live. I really like Sector-7G after seeing them w/ E&A.

lol. yeah, i realized after the fact that i added an extra "l". you could say im somewhat of a hip hop head. while i listen to just about everything, ive been following underground hip hop for almost 15 years. aesop rock is one of my personal favorites. i just saw him in concert out here a few weeks ago, with cage, el-p, mr dibbs, nd a couple of others.
soul position was pretty good, but the beats carried print. blueprints other albums suck. hes not a very good emcee. but like the other guys, he actually did pretty damn good on the orphanage project.
if you like e&a, check out some of his older stuff. oliver hart was sick.

I do have The Many Faces of Oliver Hart.

I don't care for Blueprint's albums that much, either (or SP that much). I just like his voice and how he performs live. The first time I heard underground was when I went to a concert. It was at the Aggie in Fort Collins. I can't remember what year it was, but it was E&A, Blueprint and Grayskul. I just listen to too much other stuff to pay enough attention to one type of music. I'm glad I found underground, though (or it found me). It filled the void that was left when mainstream went crappy.


So, I'll listen to one of my fav underground songs that just happens to be SP, lol

Well just keep an eye in here and ill probably list some artists you never heard of and turn you on to some dope underground hip hop.
But don't get me wrong. This isn't all I listen to. I'm also a drum and bass and jazz dj. I play house and trance on occasion. Not to mention I love my 70s music and early 90s jams.
Pretty much if it aint country, I rock it. I just happen to be an emcee/ slam poet as well so underground fits my style and gets me in the mood to write.

cool. I've been getting into a lot of Psychobilly. What are your fav D&B/Jungle artists? I like it, I just don't really know f***-all about it and haven't had much time. I haven't listened to much "electronica" in years. I've been listening to a lot of No Limit Records lately, too, lol. I actually like country, but basically only up to the mid-90's. mid to late 90's alternative is my fav "genre", but I haven't gotten to listen to a lot of it lately.

i usually just put my archos on random when I'm in the car
