ZAPPA ...what Weird Al woulda been ..if he had talent:) btw ZAPPA is an awesome guitarist..imo
 
Frank Zappa was a great guitarist and a musical genius. A classically trained musician that zigged when everyone else zagged. Frank never got the credit he deserved because his music went against the grain but he was capable of doing anything musically he wanted too. If you never heard it “You Tube” his version of Zeppelin’s Stairway to Heaven, listen to the way he arranged the horn section to replicate Jimmy Page’s solo. You have to listen past the weird to appreciate the talent.

BTW: He is a must listen for anyone planning on moving to Montana soon, or investing in dental floss.
 
grew up when JIMI & jimmy (and BLACKMORE, CLAPTON ,TOO) ruled the world ..zappa's rendition of "stairway to heaven" is on my mind now ..thanks...btw EDDIE VAN WHO?LOL...naw he's great ,but my taste is from 1967-75
