What are your EBJD experiences?

Yeah look for a breeder and maybe you will get lucky don't buy from the LFS. Its not always easy to find a good breeder. If you must have one that is the only way to go. Good luck.

My EBJD is about 2-1/2" to 3". Happy little critter, too. I'm not sure the sex of it yet but it happily goes after food and competes with my 6" gold severum.
I had bought three from the same brood before. One died early on. The other I returned because it turned out to be the runt and stopped growing. The one in my pics is putting on some weight nowadays!

I had 2 under 3"s at one point, 1 got popeye and I never could get it right and it died. The other one got in the middle of a Convict/HRP pair during a spawn and got killed. Then I got this guy at about 4"s... He's now in the 7" range. He's a very aggressive eater, not picky and will eat pretty much anything I throw in for him.
