What are your favorite cichlids of all time?

Oscar....though I haven't kept one in quite a few years they are still my favorite cichlid.I will have another one someday.
Mesoheros Festae. This is my sentimental species. When getting into cichlids it was the first species I spawned.
I currently have 9 in my fishroom. Photos are of past and present Festae

I have yet to keep the threadfin acara and have yet to see them in person, I think,. Atleast not an adult speciman.

I have been growing the M. Schomburgkii ‘Thin Bar’ group from a tiny size. I originally had 16 but thinned the group down to 12. I’ve had many Serrasalmid’s in the past, but currently only have Metynnis Mola, Myloplus Levis and Myloplus Schomburgkii ‘Thin Bar’ (all are seperate groups in seperate aquariums, I’m not a fan of mixing different species)
