If only they were easier to breed in captivity... the price is gunna skyrocket if they make them illegal to import

i thought they all ready where

I added 3 30 pounds of CaribSea Aragamax™Select and a little over 2.5 30 pound bags of Aragamax™Sugar Sized Sand. The tank is a cloudy mess at this point. In reality I need to double the amount of sand but I am going to wait for the tank to clear up before I make the decision to buy more.

they are only being bred by a few zoos and i think one guy in Australia, as far as i know no true CB FRT have made it into the private sector, at least not legally

Here is an updated picture. The heater is in the the current location temporarily until I get the sump fully running. I got some rather bad news on Thursday. The hose that split open is on backorder with Marineland and will not be available until January! I think I may have found a drop in replacement at Premium Aquatics that should be here sooner. I also installed some check valves as a backup to the supply lines.

I did not do any modifications to support the stand. I have a concrete slab that hopefully can support the weight. As for the quality of the tank and stand. Lets just say that I would never purchase another Marineland tank. I sent them a letter today outlining all of the problems that I have had.

I think it is time for an update. I added a 40 watt UV filter that is inline with one of the return pumps. The turtles are doing very well and I have added some rainbow fish to add some color to the tank. Here is a short video that I shot last week.
