What Background Color Should I Use?

I don't know, I just run it to keep the temp consitant since the tank is in the basement and the temperature changes constantly. I don't want them to go through a large temp change and get ich or something
 
black looks great.

fish dont get ich from temp changes, its either in the tank or its not.
 
I thought that ich is always in tanks but only shows when the fish go through some sort of stress, such as a large temp change maybe... Everyone tells me different things! Lol
