What becomes of Monster Catfish afterwards?

impossible to recreate the same environment as the wild?
 
There's a 4'+ red tail at a LFS in Ft. Wayne, IN. His name is Manuel and yes....he does bite.
 
does TLkmDN have a red tail in his pool-->pond set up?? if so i wonder the size and age of his. plus that is probably one of the best setups for large cat fish i have seen.
 
I saw Buddy/Frankie last week, he is in really good shape no gill curl, he has a weird barbel on the underside of his mouth that splits into two barbels at the end. He is easily 5 feet long. They have a large Pseudodoras niger as a tank mate for him.
 
I am sure there are some true Monster cats on this site TLKmDN has some Monster 4 footer RTC and RTC x TSN 's I am not sure how how big Johnptc's are but I beleave I read a thread about one of hsi cats was eating 18"+ Plecos!

I just rescued a baby 3" rtcxtsn hybrid back in dec a friend actually had this poor fish in a Betta vase!!! since december he has grown into a 15" Eating machine!
