What bichirs do best - cuddle

I got 4 new bichiers last week 2 reg 2 albino. they are around 3". They play nice but they stay at the top of the tank alot.

I've got 2 more in my 265 that are 10" but one is fat and the other is thin... not sickly looking just not fat like the other one and they get along fine.

I have a fat 12" ornate in my 300 but I hardly ever see it because it likes to hide.

If my little guys do fine I'm going to do a 125 with all bichiers.... think it will work ok if I get them small and let them grow up together?

repair, my baby senegal is a surface dweller too.

In one tank I have an 11 inch congicus, a 9 inch delhezi, a 7 inch weeksii and a little 5 inch senegal. They all get along well, the size difference doesn't matter.

It should work out fine, but I've come to realize that some individual fish are just unpredictable.

The 2 11 inch congicus I have come from the same batch, one is very placid and peaceful and the other is highly aggressive, attacks everything.

If you get nice bichirs a mixed bichir tank should work out fine.

When I first got two senegals one did chew the others fins off but adding a third kept the others from picking on each other.
