What bigger SA/CA isn't going to tear this tank up as it grows?

I have a planted tank w/ a con, salvini, and firemouth and no problems. I have hygro, argentine swords, and hornwort.

Now I'm throwing around the idea of 2-3 juvie escondido's and 2-3 juvie nics.. grow them out and keep the better looking of each.

A texas will either up root or eat some of the plants. I've been there before. Not sure about pics though, they may be fine.

my ebjd are about 3 inchs and have already takin bites out of plants in their grow out tank my carpintis hogs any vegi mater i put in the tank for my sevs and pleco.

Just placed an order of 4 escondido and 4 meeki F1 subin from Ken over at fishfarm usa. I've seena few pics now and talked to folks who have kept the escondido in tanks with java and anubias and they dont touch it unless it's int he way of their spawning sites.. otherwise it's a non issue so just gonna keep my fingers crossed.
