okay, i am wondering what bottom feeder to help with the bottom of my tank. i currently have 1 tiger oscar that's only 5 inches long at most, i also have a iridescent shark that is about 4 inches long( i wanna get another one of these). also this is going into a 55 gallon tank(i know i need a bigger tank). main thing thats on the bottom is the oscars crap.

also there is some plants in the tank as well, they are the fake style not real ones. i have like 4 of them. just trying to figure out my options for this(cause of oscar), since i have no clue on pelcos or really any bottom feeder.

:irked:Bottom feeders aren't garbage disposals! They eat food, not poo.:yuck: The cure for your situation is called cleaning...

i know, i do clean the tank. normally once a week. but what kind of bottom feeder will go with my oscar though?

You will learn that with oscars,,,,you will need to change your water twice that much. They are just a pig of a messy fish. As long as the Oscar is small, any pleco would be okay. Just make sure the oscar will not be able to nom on it when it gets bigger.

the shark is a garbage disposal theyll eat anything just getta powerhead point it at the bottom towards the gravel should kick up a good amount of waste and get an over sized filter to scoop it up = )

I agree, although a pleco isn't going to help the poo-problem (it would actually add to it).
