What can I do?

I know I cleaned everything up. The reason I wanted to clean it out was because I just want to redo the tank and get different substrate. They're looking a little better, but the smaller bp was lying on his side for about 20 minutes before I moved them. Not usually a good sign, but he does look better now, so we'll see.

I will never buy a floating thermometer again.

thermometers rnt made with mercury anymore(well they rnt suppose to b)they probbably craked it n alcohol (replaced mercury) got all up in their face so they inhaled really pure alcohol but they should b fine in a few days

you've tried unscrewing the tip of the faucet spout, right? often there's a cap that holds the diffuser.

Alternatively, if you have a shower/tub in the bathroom, you can hook the python to the shower - remove the shower head, and screw on the flexi white hose you can buy at a hardware store for use with a hand-held shower head. Attach python to that.

awesome hope it works for you - that's how had to hook my python up for about a year in an apartment, many moons ago.

I had to go through a lot of trouble for the stupid python. I got some vinyl hose, some thingamajiggers with female threading and a barb and attached those with hose clamps. Then I connected one end to the shower and got a plastic male connector and attached the python connector. So like $15 later and lots of getting sprayed, my system works.

Oh, and the blood parrots died last night. They were looking so much better, but they suddenly went white again last night and died. Water was fine. Ammonia 0, Nitrite 0, nitrate about 10, ph 7.2, 79 degrees. So, I think it was related to whatever happened to them with the thermometer. I haven't lost a fish in a long time.
