What can I keep with a bgk

i have a 13" silver with my 2-8" bgks the aro pays no attention to the bgks...you could also put gar, tinfoils, balas, ropefish,plecos...just from my expireance. basically if the bgk can't eat it or vise versa you will be good as long as the tank is big enough. it also depends on the temperment of the fish some can be agressive.
my 5" bgk is house with 15" oscar...no problem..sumtimes the bgk gets really close to my oscar doesnt do anytin..ive seen it touching oscars mouth with his tail..still nothing..bgk are shy and loves to hide..so long u giv it a tube to hide ur good
Both of those fish are semi-aggressive, as in they will eat any fish small enough to be easily consumed. Also, bgks are often aggressive with other electric fish.
So, really, you shouldn't have any stocking problems.

My BGK has lived with my bichirs with no problems at all for months now.

My BGK lives quite happily with my Silver in a 125 g. Both are 7".
The BGK is happy with all the other tankmates as well..2 loaches, 2 silver dollars, 2 bala sharks....even takes the time to do what looks like cleaning on the balas and SD's...maybe he is just tasting them.
He does keep his home under the DW clear of anyone that enters tho!
