A pleco...? Not much choice with a 29 gallon. Most fish that can take a Convict cichlid need a much bigger tank.

wow its true, canadians really are stupid. plecos can grow upwards of 2ft. ii would not reccomend a pleco. you could try gravel? or maybee a fake plant?

Umm, you do realize there are different species of plecos right? Maybe do a bit of research yourself before giving advise when it's mixed in with an insult.
