I got a an empty space under my 60 gallon tank and it is about 46 inches long and about 13 - 15 inch high, i was wondering what can i house in that size of a tank?

Exp. for lizards had 2 bearded dragons , had a 40 gallon with about 6 cought blue bellies (fenced lizards) , and had a savanah monitor ( my old reptile spot i use to go,had a baby they wanted to keep and let me keep him tell he got to about 3 feet then gave it back!

so yeah, i want something i can handle and my son can touch,so maybe some more beardies but i want to know what else are some posibilites?

thanks!

How wide is the space? How about a group of geckos... something different to a beardie, many species have a number of colour mutations (such as leos). Snakes?

ble tounges are somewhat agressive( at least thats what ive heard

wide is about 18 inchs i can also add bracing on the bottom for a bit bigger geckos sound good but can you handle then once or twice a day? i hear you shouldnt handle them, skinks also sound good but dont like how they look when they get bigger and if were to get a skink it would be a fire skink (beauty)

and plated lizard how they looK? max size?

mine was wc farm raised and tame right out of the box,its not like its got a long neck and it cant really turn and bite you if it wanted. They are very cool and just kind of dont care your messin with them.He may puf a bit at first and then its like oh well screw it I guess hes holding me again.Dude, tamest lizard I ever had and I raised beards.Way bigger than fire skinks and heres a pic to show some colors.Ive even got to where I can reach in and touch the tip of his mouth with confidence. The only time he acts angry is if you scare him after waking him and pick him right up from a sleep.Even then,as mad as they can get,its not like an angry monitor. They are so easy to handle I cant believe it.a13.JPG

BTS always gives me the creep, don't know if it's their big blue tongue, weird eye/head profile, or that their legs just seems too small for their body:nilly:

i really wouldnt mind one but the wife thinks the same as you, are all skinks that way? the fire skinks head profile looks a bit differnt..?

and whats max. size for one??

and for beardies i has 2 and never had a problem with them bitting neither my monitor, oh and 2 cali kink snakes i had when i was young (1 won in a raffle 1 wild caught) never tried to bite either maybe its my luck?

i didnt mean those others all bite.I just meant if they get angry they act alot crazier than a grumpy bts. After you spend time with one you start to fall for its looks,my girl hates snakes and felt the same with this guy but now dosnt and will hold it.Im just sayin you know, they really got little personalities, feels more like a pet.
