What can I stock this with indoors?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
How about two Asian arowanas (legal because I’m in Canada), 1 stingray and some pbass?

How about one arowana and you plan on upgrading even that fish to a larger tank in a year or so?

Merry Christmas.

This should open up your options.

This would be an awesome tank for mudskippers and anableps if you make a rim to keep them from climbing out. It would also be cool for archers. It might work for a giant gourami. It would be really cool for pink kissers you could see them spawn in there. Odoe pikes would do well in there, but you may not be able to see them well. Bichirs was a good idea. Butterfly fish are another option, but you might need net sides to keep them from jumping. Halfbeaks are another option. A lung fish might be fun in there as well. It would be fun to to spawn red devils in there as well. You have a lot of cool options enjoy the tank. Toby_H Toby_H has a great idea as well, but there is always a bigger tank. Be careful if you start down that path. The next thing you know you will be building an indoor pool.

Love this dimension footprint! I easily can put in my Roseline Barbs in there along with clown loach growouts. But nope I like seeing my fish from the side. Fish I enjoy seeing topside is probably the smaller colorful fish as massive schools of platinum rice fish, guppies, but that’s me ?‍♀️ or putting plecos/catfish I never see in the tank there and they will be more outgoing. MyJaguar catfish enjoyed this type of stock tub setup

does not look like it will work indoors for any fish. This is a screen shot from the 1st paragraph of the description for the 250 gallon lnked to here in the OP. Not sure what would make this different from a PE holding tank that’s designed for above ground use though.

Its basically a 6x4 tank is that not big enough for a asian or jardini aro? I agree that more than one is pushing it but what about a solo one?
Could just be 1 aro, solo. And maybe 1/2 bichirs. But a jardini would get daarkkk in there and asians also look pretty bland from the top.
