I have my hystrix in a large peaceful SA community - geo orange head tapajos, angels, rotkeil severum and discus. They've been doing great for a year, except the discus I just added last weekend... no worries about outgrowing the tank either.
What can I stock with my stingray

Geos are great all the looks but non of the eye bighting, you can also go with EBJD or Blue Gene Dempseys as they are less aggressive. Uarus would work to.
just moved my gar with my retics and so far its peaceful.. but yeah rays seem to be a hit or miss with other fish. seems to be if everyone leaves everyone else alone then no biggy... but then ive heard horror stories of what rays can do to tankmates.. and rays becomeing snacks for other tank mates. personally ide rather chance haveing to restock some easy to replace comm fish then a ray...
Lol I wrote this for the ray I traded you. I was thinking about buying a teacup ray. My lfs had em for $60 .
