What can I use for lighting on my 125?

I was thinking 2 3 footers from my LFS but they are $54 a peice. What do you guys and girls use on your 125 or 6 foot tanks?

humm, 72" of sun lovin fun. Definatly 4 96w power compacts. Coralife deluxe aqualight. Over 3wpg? OH yeah!

And yet, one 48" bulb and 2 24" bulb on my tank produce more light than all of your lighting. WPG is a form of measurement that only applies to moderately low lighting systems. I have 4 48" and 4 24", and my lighting cost 1/2 of your PC lighting, and my bulbs only cost $8 to replace, compared to yours that sit over $40.

The most light for you $$$$ is definately T5.

But unless your going to tell us what it is you plan to light (i.e. plants, fish, nocturnal fish) there isn't anyway to tell you whats best for your aplication.
