ooh yeah- i am not sure what brand of filter this is i got- but its got the double bio wheels and i got the undergravel filter with a powerhead
i will get another one tomorrow and put in there- would you reccomend it from where i got these 2 from, they had a whole school of them, do you think they may get along better with a fish that its already been a tankmate with?
the hob filter is a good start, you might wanna pick up another one tho, as far as the undergravel filter goes, i usually recommend people stay away from those, but it's up to you.
i am not sure- it came with tank- lol.... i really havent looked at brand- but this setup did really well for my oscars who r pigs...... they moved into a bigger home and i had an empty tank- so these guys got the home

well, they probably won't remember it or anything, but it will help that they'll all be similarly sized. you could actually get a few more if you plan on upgrading, if you aren't gonna upgrade, you could still get a few more to cover losses and if they all survive you can bring them back to the store or sell them to friends. where abouts in sodak are you from?
i am in the south east part of south dakota... on the border of sd, neb and ia.... its been a chore to get a larger tank than a 60 gal here- at least one that isnt overly priced anyhow
yeah, i hear ya, i talk to another member who lives in iowa and he says the same thing about not bein able to find stuff. my girl is from sioux falls, i'm only a few hours away but i've never actually been there, she wants to drag me out there to meet her extended family once i'm allowed to go tho.... i can't wait, haha.
