here are some pics of it blasting water out when i did a water change last week .... i can snap a pic of it actually just sitting in the tank if you wanted, i had to zip tie the centre up as it was sagging with the weight in the water im assuming

all the pvc pipe used was 3/4" ID and i ended up using a 1" ID vinyl mesh hose, it was a VERY tight fit to get the hose on the pvc pipe, but with some hot water and vaseline it slide on no sweat

Just for a comparison.. the CF-500UV really is a large canister as well.
