so my new 235gallon will be setup this week so im trying to figure out my stocking list. i was thinking mabye tigrinus if my tank is big enough (5'Long x 3'wide x 25"tall). if it is big enough can you please give me some info on them i have only been able to find small amounts of info on them. if my tank is to small what whould be a good choice? Oh by the way it will have to be housed with rays so please keep that in mind. thanks

how much u wanna spend on a cat :)

as much as it takes;)

Anyone?

A tig should be fine they only get about 2' I believe, longer if you add the streamers, and it shouldn't have any problems with a ray. I didn't want t spend the money on a tig so I got a marbled pim and it does fine but they get 3'. Jurenese would be fine to if you don't want to spend the money on a tig.

K thanks. I was looking at the jurenese but wasn't sure if they were ray safe
I think as of now I'm going with a tig

Yeah all three are ray safe, DavidW keeps tigs and jurenese with his rays. A tig is a good choice.

Get a tig! they can get bigger than 2 ft but at that size grow extremely slow. They'll spurt to 12" if fed properly and then slow down a little with growth. I have seen one almost 3 ft in person, it was wild. It dwarfed my 2 footer! I bought mine about 3 weeks out of peru and have had a hard time getting it to eat but its still going and I've had him about 2 months or so...must be eating something because he doesn't look overly skinny.... My smaller ones feast!

your 300 is packed!!! post a pic please espically of the 26" tig and tiger ray. that tiger rays gonna need a huge tank. thanks everybody

wow i just say your tank pics i really like it good job
