A tigrinus will do fine with rays as long as it is big enough for the ray not to have it as a snack. I feed mine a staple of market shrimp, and also throw in silversides 2 times a week. If you do get a small one I would not power feed it everyday, it is good to fast them for a day or two once every week or so.
