What Catfish Is This?

Remember there is this species of Catfish that is in black colour, with such a huge mouth that can eat a prey almost its own size? I forgot the name...there was even a video of that Catfish once that shocked everyone watching, I think it ate a Carp that looked impossible for it to eat until it opened its huge mouth.

I saw that video of the gulper eating that huge fish and my mouth dropped open with a "OH MY GOD!" lol

I think it would be an awesome fish to own.

there have been alot for sale on the net but i doubt if the ship to the sahara

I have seen one of these cats at a LFS going for $200. The owner was upset that it ate a Lukanini of the same size and refuses to eat small feeders. I was told that this is a cross btw RTC and a channel catfish, anyone heard of this?

I have an 8" Gulper and he is awesome. Look on Planet catfish as they have one that has eaten a bigger pike cichlid. Keep alone as they will either eat the other occupants or get bullied. Enjoy
