Hey besides plecos what can live with goldfish?
Alex

madtoms, bullheads, hoplo cats, cories, on the last 2 be wary of the temperature needs.
and the first 2 be wary of the potential of them eating the goldfish.

It's not a matter of "if" they can live with them... the real question is "how long".

I'd go with Corys too.
Not positive, but Pictus may do well, if they are reasonable sized goldfishes

to be completely honest...

madtoms and hoplos(i read an article that they can do well at low temperatures)

We arent only talking about compatability. You have to take longevity and quality of life into consideration. Most catfish, even pl*cos are warm water fish 77-82. Goldfish are most happy 72 and under if im not mistaken. Putting warm water fish in cold water can considerably shorten their lives just like putting coldwater fish in warm water.

Just how i feel good luck with whatever you do. Lord knows i dont exactly do what is right for my fish all the time.

Wow are they expensive?

If the tank/pond in question is large enough, a Chines Hi Fin Sucker (Myxocyprinus asiaticus) would be a nice addition to the goldfish. Although it takes a while, they can grow up to three feet, so large accommodations are a must.

Good Luck,
Art
