I'd eliminate the frozen foods and stick with a pellet with more of a veggie base to it with lower protein like 40% or lower. This parasite resides in all cichlids intestinal tracts and environmental factors bring it up to lethal levels. The problem is that you dont typically know a fish has it till it's too late. My buddy used a plastic syringe and literally injected metro through his istlanum's mouth to get the meds into its stomach. You can try that, it worked. Clout is the only thing that has worked for me along with massive water changes every other day (like 80%) Also epsom salts are supposed to help clear them out. Truth is that if someone could come up with a clear solution they'd be a rich man or woman!
