Those fish that were more stressed had decreased immune systems and were more prone to getting it. Those that don't have it will likely get it eventually at some point during your treatment, just because of the large numbers of ich that are in your water.

its caused by an invertabrate, you have a few options you can add some salt to the tank, or use ich meds for it.



Don't use aquarium salt. All aquariums need salt even freshwater but I think he may be referring to a saltwater bath. Saltwater baths work very well if you catch the ick early.

Nope I'm actually referring to using aquarium salt as a treatment (not a salt bath) which has proven very effective

To answer your question, some are more stressed then others making them more susceptible to getting it, also some species are more susceptible than others. Kinda like a cold when your stressed or overworked/tired you are more susceptible to getting sick. How are you fish doing with the treatment?

they still look bad but on a side note the green terror is top dog in the tank so its werid if it comes froms stress
