What Channa species is this?

I was reading an aquarium book "Exotic Tropical fishes" and I noticed an unknown breed of Channa in there. I was wondering if anyone knew what breed this one is? It is the one above not below.

Hmm, it looks like a c. maculata to me..

I have an argus and it looks a bit different...
For example, the "nose" tubes on an argus are very short
The easiest way to tell them apart is to look at the last "spot" before the tail fin..on an argus it is a band instead of a spot.
