What cichlids can go into an 85gal hex?

Very bad advice. This footprint is not suitable for a 10"+ fish. Although the amount of gallons is more then suitable the footprint is not.

I like the idea of having a pair of red devils. Angels sound cool as well though. I sorta want a tank buster for the tank though but communities are cool as well. So many choices... Whats a good stock list to along with a pair of angel? Are there different types of angels?

I also really like pikes. If i make a communitu out of it i definatly want a species of pike in there. I just dont know which ones are small enough tp be housed in this tank.

Yes on both. JDs are easy to sex never had ebjds though. Angels just need to get a group of juvies and let them pair off usually around 6 to 7 months

A lone red devil would be very uncomfortable in that tank. It is not a good size for a tank buster type fish. If you want attitude go with a nice pair of convicts.
