What cichlids can go into an 85gal hex?

Realistically for all the types of fish the OP wants to raise, it is just not a good fit.

As opposed to swimming back and forth?

But yes realistically there's not a lot of fish that can go into there, at least not the big ones.

How cheap is this tank? You just really want it to happen.... Honestly I would rather try that in a standard 55g than this hex tank.

That tank isn't worth $85... To most (not all) ca/sa keepers on here it's worthless. Why not just wait and find a deal on a tank that is better suited to the salvini?

Well i could buy a better tank but right now im living in an apartment with my mom and she doesnt want me to bring a big fishtank in here so an 85hex doesnt look that big. There is a deal on a 180gal for $150 but i just dont have space for it. I could just go against her wishes but i want to respect what she says. Im thinking about getting the 180 and storing it at a friends house though. I really shouldnt be spending a lot of money on these tanks which is why i want the 85 hex cuz its under a hundred dollars. Cuz i just quit my job and im about to go to school full time in Jan. I do have over $2000 saved up so $150 wouldnt be too bad. I might as well just grab the 180 and not the 85 huh. I was just thinking the 85 would look so good in my room.
