Hello all. I have a simply question...What other Cichlid species do you keep with Uaru? Also tank sizes would be helpful. Ive seen many people keep Eartheaters with Uaru, but im looking for other, odder mixes. Thanks in advance.

really you can keep them with about anything that is not to agro..
alot of people keep them with pbass (just make sure the Uaru is much larger)
i have mine with 2 sevs, 3 port acara, 2 geos, and 3 cutteri.
festivium would be a great tank mate (when i get a larger tank for my uaru i paln to add some)

I just have blue rams with mine, but I am planning to add some discus. I had angels, but they all paired up and got a bit fiesty so they got moved...I also have large shoals of neons, hatchets (marbled and silver),Cory Julli and 6 silver dollars and 6 rummy nose tetras...I'm happy with the mix as its really coloruful, always something going on yet is really chilled!
My discus get on well with the uarus, though the uarus like to show who's in command of the tank. When they where smaller, about 3inches, i tried my luck and placed 20 cardinal tetras with them. The tank looked amazing with the fish contrasts, shoal of cardinals among 4 uarus, but they had the tetras eaten after a week!
I have some cons in with mine, and an oscar...I'm looking for more uaru and if I have any problems with the cons they're getting moved. So far nothing though, and that's almost 9 months, and 2 of the cons paired off.
