what kind of cichlids can i keep in my 20 long? I do not want to buy german blue rams or any rams or kribs i have had very bad luck with these. Is it possible to keep a convict?

are female convicts less agressive than males? If so what fish can i keep with a convict tiger barbs mabey?
you could easyly have a female conin there they max about 4" and yes you can have tiger barbs but its a risk,i went on holiday so i left a feeding block, they didnt touch it but eat the tiger barbs, there was 5tiger barbs, JD, con and a green terror.
ever thought about HRP-honduran redpoint they are simular to convicts but nicer looking, less aggressive and rare-ish. they would be fine with tiger barbs and you could have a pair- there awesome fish i have fry and 1 male my female died

so females are less agressive so i could keep one or 2. What do i put in with them? It is obviously a semi-agressive tank, so maybe tiger barbs, or serpae tetras? i am not sure. And the bioload would not be too much with 2 female convicts?jombi21;1168073; said:
