That's cool that my loach was used for the rare loach up above. :D

I have had some nice offers for this guy here, the "V" loach....

Damn that little dude is so awesome!! Out of curiosity, what do you think that would go for? Or should I say, what do you think is its value given its rare pattern? I'm just getting into loaches but I've never seen any odd patterns at my LFS

I am not quite sure. I bought him very small and have been growing him for over a year now, so I am kind of attached. It would be really hard to part with this guy, since he is so unique.

I rarely see (BIG emphasis on the rare) an oddball clown at a LFS, but because they are so few and far, they are the same price as the other clowns.

JD, what does your "V" loach look like on the other side?

I had to look through some pics to find him....he is the saddle back that I put the arrow on. (I am pretty sure that's him, if not it's his twin.)

Very neat collection, Bret.:) I only have a side-spot at the moment and it's not very easy searching for oddball variants at all.

That's really weird! I have one that has a very similar pattern on each side.

I was in my friends shop on Thursday, i was checking a tank of 3-4" CL's and out of the 25+ CL's there was at least 5 that had 'oddball' stripe formations. I asked him if I could have 1 in particular that had a really strange sort of a broken twist in the bar and it appeared to be symetrical. He couldn't any particular idividual CL as he 8 very rare 'mascara barbs' that were really jumpy and to valuable. But he's going to keep it for me, it will be firts 'oddball' maybe I'll start to catch the bug as so far they've never done much for me.

Oh my dad has an LFS I work there on Sunday's I will start to go through his stock and seperate the 'oddballs' for anyone in the UK that may keep them?
