What Color Gravel Best Suits Cichlids

thnx for all the posts, and its good to see that black is in the lead, as that what i recon is the best, and my mate loses. lol go black.
i also use black in all my other tanks, my native tanks that is, as it brings out the colors.

I use black sand for my oscar and green terror... Gts colors are great

thats because black works well for brightly coloured fish
the lighter colour helps bring out the colours in darker fish like jags, cubans, jds convicts

Black is best IMO. Even though i say black, all my tanks have natural looking gravel in them, besides my 5 gallon hex.
Brown "natural sand" colors is the gravel I would choose. After all, sand is pretty darn natural.
