What colour sand for JAGS

The quickcrete all purpose sand is kinda dark,I use a few scoops of dark gravel

i have 2 jags with 75% white pool filter sand and 25% black sand i think it looks good. i would defiantly go with sand and do not use gravel

would love to see a pic of this...sounds interesting

i grabbed some PFS, have some confidence in this project.
against the black granite pieces and driftwood, it looks great.

I have PFS under my Jag pair as well. I wanted lighter color since they are on the bottom rack& their tank has a black background

Not right now.
It's a 60x18x22 with a thin layer of PFS. The only decoration is some PVC Ypipes. It's really not anything special to look at. It's set up for breeding, not for show

If you use black Subtrate, the jags would be darker, then white sand the will come out more in color, black is only certain colors and size.

wouldnt mix it, black & white I dont like have it in my 60g, looks ugly imo
