Try silver dollars or dwarf guoramis and for a bottom feeder clown pleco or bushy noses

Cant keep a pleco alive no matter WHAT i try...

those things just seem to flop over and die 3 days after they are in my tank:irked:

if i could I would have an L46 tho :naughty:

I wouldn't put Silver Dollars in a 55 g, they get too big and they're super spastic. Tiger Barbs would be great and some Cory Cats for the bottom.
Does this mean you got rid of your Oscar and aren't putting him in the 55?

Well, im in the process of getting rid of it because my mom like blew a gasket when I brought up getting a new tank...

And I need somewhere to put my EBJD because they cannot live in the 20s theyre in...

But to simplify it I am getting rid of it because I cannot get a 75 for it, which I thought I was going to be able to do

So what tank is the oscar in?

the oscar is in the 55... he is with 2 cons that i moved in there so I could seperate my EBJDs...

I havent moved anything as of now but the stocklist will soon be 1 EBJD in the 55...

use some tetras of some sort. and as far as a bottom feeder goes. in my 55 dwarf tank i got this cool little version of a rtc called a bumble bee cat fish. it maxes out at 3.5" and is a furious eater. and 3 juli cory cats and a big ole skunk cory.

As some others already mentioned...I'd go with the Giant Danios as dithers and maybe a bushy nose for the bottom dweller.

Giant danios are always a good choice, but ebjds often just ignore dithers, so you might get away with something more attractive like orange swordtails. I've seen serpae tetra mentioned. Rosy barbs. As you can see, I tend to favor red dithers with my blue ebjd.

I say 1 EBJD and a pair of cons and be done with it lol. Or get a female EBJD to go along with 1 of the males but no other fish because I believe a 55 is just perfect for 1 JD, so 2 is pushing it.
