I agree. Acara are usually the police of the tank, imo. O's can be hit or miss, you might get a terror, or a very chill one.

I had an acara that was a s.o.b had to be removed from a 150 gal due to its aggression towards a small pearsei

Lol my current juvenile GT is most definitely not the same way, if I had to characterise him it would be "homicidal nutcase of the tank". He even hates my rubbernose pleco, that is practically the same colour as the background and hard to see.

This is in a 90 gallon, just him and the plec lol

I'd say the O, but Acara's can be quite chilled; they only tussle really when other fish get out of line, in my experience.

MY eba's could take my juvi gts easy as they're bigger but they actually don't initiate it
very rarely when I feed them the male eba will rush forward at the biggest juvi gt and juvi gt retreats
but they live happy, with ebas more interested in eating, chasing each other or other stuff lol
bet the juvi gt is saying to himself "you wait till I'm fully grown mate, let's see who's boss then" lol

I think it would be safe to add a Gold Severum or a Red Parrot fish.
