what could i use for 1000 gallon tank?

Wouldnt asking people experienced in keeping big fish tanks be considered planning? I have never had a big tank but I want one and have the resources to get one and whenever I search for the kinds of fish I want or the size of tank I want I get all these fourms. I trust people on this board more than the guy at my lfs. Any help on what to read or websites for planning would be appreciated.

I use 15* 500w heaters, conected to a seperate industrial thermostat.

i use a 1000 watt titanium heater in a 800 gallon tank :idea:
