wide bar, indo, who cares?! Id honestly pay wide bar prices for that nice of a dat. I mean it is no worse then most wide bars Ive seen so why would it be worth less?

BMW, Kia, who cares?! Id honestly pay BMW prices for that nice of a Kia. I mean it is no worse then most BMW Ive seen so why would it be worth less?
It's about consumers not getting what they think they've paid for, or deceived to make wrong purchases. Doesn't matter how good or bad the goods are. The price for a bmw is higher than a kia so if you bought a kia and thought it was a bmw you got ripped off no matter how nice looking of a that kia is.

That is a HORRIBLE analogy! When it comes to cars it is not ONLY about looks like it would be with fish. With cars you pay for the quality (or lack there of) of components from the inside and out. Again with these dats, correct me if Im wrong, it is about looks. Should an Indo that looks as good, if not better then many wide bars, be worth less?

I agree with T1K....1 LFS around me has NEVER labeled a datnoid correctly. They currently have a wide bar labeled as a NGT. And 3 thin bars labeled as XL Datnoid (guess technically not wrong, but not very specific) I bought a Thin Bar from them that was labeled ST. Dont worry it was thin bar price and I knew it was a thin bar when I got it.
My point is if I buy a fish from any LFS, I'll be sure I know what I am getting.
Most LFS don't know what they are doing, the place where i got my 4 indos were selling them as AT's it very easy to see the difference, between gold and silver.TCZeli;997481; said:

I know, i know..... I just dont have the room right now, I had to take down a bunch of tanks because I am moving soon. It is only about 4-5 inches and they are selling it for $239. I dont want to buy it and throw it in a packed tank to watch it die.
There thin bar is 9-10 inch and is one of the brightest thin bars ive ever seen, its only $150, and I cant get that either.
They have 1.5inch thin bar x2, for only $25 each, and I cant even get those (that gets me the maddest)
Boggwood - yea indos and AT dont look anything alike, same with ST and NGT but they have there ST labeled as NG. It is surprising because this fish store has some ppl who REALLY know there stuff, and it is an excellent store, but they dont know crap when it comes to Dats.
