Very much south..
that I found yesterday, 4 or five of them in my golden aro. Those things just exist in this one place.

Beyond that she has several whitish "nodules" on her fin tail, only in the same side as the above referred "pimples"..

She swioms normally, eats, is her usual self. I find nothing in my other aros and snakehead and etc..

the only "new thing " happening in the tank that I can recall is the addition, 15 days ago, of several floating plants to the sump ( water hyacinhts and comparable plants )

OMG! It looks like fish lice to me...

I realize it would be difficult (since ive done it myself) but have you tried to scrape them off yet?

Is it rubbing itself at all?

FYI - When my tank came down with this they only attached to my aro for some strange reason...

I cannot imagine what it must be to get hold of this 2,5 feet monster to try to scrape them off...I imagine it would knock the tank apart

and don't fish lice moove about? I thought they did and that they would not stay in the same spot.. also, I understand they're brownish. those are milk white ( whatever it might be...)

In my fish lice case the lice did not swim around and they were white, if not clear with a gleatine like coating. If you do scrape them off pm me and we can chat more about the technique I used.

I am however only one person with one opinion so I could be wrong in my diagnosis. Lets wait and hear from other members, if not from members who have had cases of fish lice. The sticky about fish lice that I sent you ealier this week is misleading in that the picture does NOT really match what you might see on your fish since the picture is magnified at a greater rate than what you would see with your naked eye.

My biggest worry is that if left on your fish for awhile the lice will leave a scar on that handsome aro of yours!

and no, it has absolutely no signs of "itching" / rubbing, etc...she acts normally

Mig - Have you done a MFK search using the word "pimple" yet? About 4 pages come up on this subject. It might help you if you looked at the threads with pictures so that you have something to compare your situation with...

will do...aS OF RIGHT NOW...
