what dat should i get? tankmates

so here is my stock list, if i get a dat, what would be the most appropriate? also, i am new to dats, so if you say NTT, IT, AT, or any of that please give the common name too

2-3 p.bass
silver aro
clown knife
TSN
Irwini
and possibly a spotted gar in the future

obviously i would get one the size i needed, or slightly larger than all my fish, so he can keep up

but the NTT (Thin Bar) is the most timid so IT (Indo), AT (American Tiger\Silver) ST (wide bar) Possibly a NGT (cant spell common name lol, New Genni? Tiger) but they are the most agressive....

But really just go with which ever one you like most and make sure they are deffinately bigger then the pbass...

Just remember the bigger they are the high the $$$$

I agree...It's just your preference. If u are not looking to spend alot of $, I would suggest the AT(Silver), NTT (thinbar), or the IT (Indonesian).
I personally don't like the silvers...I think the yellow/goldish tigers look the best. These 3 types are the most readily available and cheapest tigers.

I have Clown Loaches, a small bichir, Yo-Yo loaches in with my 6 dat's. They all get along fine.

Hey tigerfish that IT in your Avatar is sweet!!!! Now that's a keeper!!! I love the pattern of the strips, I never seen one like that!! It's like a split bar indo but it looks like a teardrop. Hey you could call it a teardrop Indo....lol!!!
