my LFS mislabels them congicus too even after i tell them they are not

Even under stress, Congi's have noticeably contrasting stripes, which sort of resemble lighting bolts.

Lapradei turn almost a solid pale olive to cream/silver color.


Yours are deffinitely lapradei as already stated, but laps are one of my favorite poly's, you'll really enjoy them.

Their characteristic long tail fins are really nice looking when they feel like swimming around.

Geez... $24 for bichirs that size is a friggin steal!
