What did you buy special for your fish

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
very nice ..your arows are going to be very pleased and they are so worth it:D

I've bought the following:
Blender for Food Mixes
Special Food (I think everyone does this?)
Frozen Peas for my old Oscar (R.I.P. :()
Too much RO to remember

Not really bought, but I've made Caves, and pits for my fish. And I guess I've done some things to make them feel better, just not specifically for them. Like, I've bought special lights for my plants to make my german blue rams feel more comfortable, or bought Shoals of fish just so another fish would feel more at ease... I've also, on many occasions, stuck into a neighbor's lawn to get a rock I think could be used to spawn under for my fish.

i bought a 55 gallon tank special just for my senegal (and he loves it!) i then bought him some friends to play with

I bought $20 worth of pvc pipe and made a ultra complex condominium maze for my african cichlids a while back. Took up half of a 55. Sold it when I got rid of the africans, but they LOVED it

i love the last one..you snuck onto your neighbors lawn for a rock..that is sweet and a big risk and i am sure they spawn and like the rocks you chose.. :naughty: sorry about your O...By the way do you have a sail fin thats in your avator? I like them and they get huge.

Bought them some new Eheim canister filters got a couple more 29 gallon tanks for some growouts with all goodies heaters, lights that sort of stuff. Put sand in every single one of my tanks finally they all love it and play with it in their mouths lol. They used to shoot rocks every where now they get to spray sand every where lol. Oh and bought them plants and I finally started feeding them Blood worms once again.

I wish that Myxocyprinus asiaticus was mine! I love them, but sadly I can't find any, and I don't have a tank large enough to house them when they grow :( .

And yes, they do seem to love the rocks! I'm very picky. I don't mix colors in my tanks when it comes to rocks. I only get ones that are a dark blue and rounded, I think alot of people call them "mexican river rocks". I can get plenty of smaller ones out of my mom's garden, but larger ones require searching around the neighborhood at night sometimes :naughty: . I felt good when my fish dug a pit under one that I need to have a bigger friend get for me :D .
