The thing is, when adding bacteria to a new tank, whether it be established media from another tank (usually trustworthy), or off the shelf product (very hit and miss), it sort of leads you into a false sense of security.
You think your tank's instantly cycled and ready for new stock. In reality, to be sure, you still need to test your water to establish that that is the case.
You didn't post your actual results in your other thread, and the water was very cloudy too. The alarm bells were ringing for me at this point that maybe just a little more patience was required.
All you can do now is observe, test, and repeat. Don't feed and do small water changes too if your ammonia starts creeping up. With a bit of luck all that BB you added will come to the rescue and things will calm down.
