Did you put it vertical? They lay eggs vertically like on the glass and plants, a piece of slate or flag stone something like that will attract them and then you can remove it and hopefully hatch them yourself.
Since they are a proven mated pair, and you seem to enjoy the spawning process, why not get another tank for the rest of the community, leaving the pair to spawn again, undisturbed.
Or trade the others in at the LFS for food, or artemia eggs to hatch and feed the nauplii to the angel fry when they become free swimming.
Many cichlids will eat their own eggs and fry if they fear they will be eaten by other fish. They spent a lot of energy producing the eggs and if they feel threatened, by eating them, they get something out of it, and it is not total loss.
